I get the Sandy Hook thing, devs, I really do. Maybe that many can "pin" the thing to the surface and out of your way for good. I've been trying here and there with gas torpedoes, but they don't actually seem to be lethal (BIG SURPRISE) to anyone but you. That's what, 30, 40 opportunities or more for the thing to escape stasis and kill me? Not to mention boring? Not worth it. Heck, your stasis rifle will run out of battery power at that rate. I wound also love to hear others who have tried the warrior style kill on this Leviathan and even possible killed him because the is a death animation for The Leviathan that I've seen on youtube. So that's what happened to me and I want to know how many slashes or if there's a more potent blade I can use against it.
It looked like it would and my face even went into his mouth, but it just pushed me away and left.
For some reason he suddenly turned faster than usual and it caught me in its mouth and it was really cool, but what made it less dramatic was it didn't actually swallow me. After so many heart pounding moments I eventually made a mistake and ran in to make a slash just as it turned back and kill me. I kept thinking," I should just escape," but I didn't won't to leave such a good fight. So I pulled out my heat charged knife, I've found to kill just about anything, and proceeded to slash at The Leviathan as many times as I could after 20-30 slashes at the thing I was seeming to make zero progress in slaying it. So I hopped out of the Seamoth and used it as a distraction for The Leviathan and as it destroyed my ship in seconds I knew that he would kill my at a much quicker speed. So I head out in search for the Grand Reef and while setting out with my moth and wound up encountering The Leviathan again my first thought was to flee, but on seeing him move I knew my uncoordinated moth was not agile enough to evade as I have against The Leviathan multiple times. I found a compression module and wanted to make the MK 2 upgrade. I hate turning and running from anything, but I did with the thought of living to kill it later. My friend told me to leave it alone and flee. The first time I versed it was near the beginning of my game (before I even had a Seamoth and all I had was a nomal knife). I have ran into this Leviathan a number of times, but have yet to kill it. If you can't figure from the tittle it's called a leviathan, but to me it looks like a giant mermaid from the sea stories I grew up with that sinks ships and eats people whole. It has no defense, at the moment, and there's this thing that i keep running into, but I usually escape. I've logged about 14 hours and have just gotten the Seamoth about 2 hours ago. I've just recently played this game at my friends.
